Universal Software Solutions was founded on January 1st 2000 in response to a demand in the market for an automated data management solution.
The goal was to provide operational efficiencies in a barrier-free environment with flexibility and scalability. Universal prides itself on creating products built on a nimble and sophisticated database structure that allows providers in the post-acute healthcare market to provide exemplary patient care with lean resources.
Universal has been a privately held company with consistent leadership & product visionaries since inception. After nearly twenty years of providing a dependable solution to America's top post acute-care healthcare providers, the desire and focused vision of Universal ensures another twenty.
The Universal Team is comprised of unique and talented software professionals specializing in product engineering, software education, and customer service based in Davison, Michigan; all of whom go above and beyond for clients every day. With Universal, it's personal.
Our Leadership
Chris Dobiesz, CEO
Chris has celebrated a 30-year career in software development and information technology, and holds an MBA in Business Administration. He is the visionary behind Universal products like HDMS and StowPoint and is continually working to provide innovative solutions to our clients. In his free time, he is a proud husband, father, and grandfather who enjoys spending time outdoors with his grandchildren.
Dave Golen Sr, VP Business Development
Dave has been on the forefront of connecting healthcare providers to new solutions since 2002. His specialty is people and process, and his hands-on approach to sales and implementation is the cornerstone to Universal's success. When not working directly with clients, Dave is a proud husband, father, and grandfather who enjoys golfing and working on cars with his sons.
Tony Clark, Vice President Client Success
Tony has been in the healthcare industry for 30 years. For 18 of those years, he worked as a healthcare consultant for small independent to multi-location / multi-company corporations. In his recent roles, Tony has been a "C-suite" level executive overseeing operations for multi-million-dollar pharmacies while owning a consulting company. His expertise ranges from Home Infusion, Specialty Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy, and HME/ DME.
Dave W. Golen, Operations Manager
Dave has worked for Universal since 2005 and excels in every aspect of customer service, from software support and trainer, to implementations manager. Dave also plays a vital role in the quality of user experience for our products. As a family man, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and is an avid movie buff.
Kevin Dobiesz, VP of Product Development
Kevin Dobiesz joined USS in 2009, working his way thru the company from Customer Service to a Project Manager, specializing in new client implementations. Most recently he has taken on the role of Director of Product Development, where he focuses on enhancing our products to keep pace with industry demands and deliver value to our clients.
Matt Golen, Account Manager
With over 13 years of experience in the sales industry, Matt has built a reputation for driving revenue growth and fostering lasting client relationships. As a Sales & Account Manager, Matt has specialized in creating customized sales strategies that align with clients' unique needs, ensuring consistent satisfaction and success. Throughout Matt's career, he has consistently exceeded sales targets and played a pivotal role in expanding Universal Software Solutions' market presence.
